The classic Porsche Speedster

The Porsche Speedster is a model variant of Porsche. The most famous Porsche Speedsters are those of the Porsche 356 models.

At the end of 1954, the Porsche Speedster came onto the market. This baptized sports car had the steel body of the Cabriolet, with a low flattened windscreen and a stripped-down interior.

The Porsche Speedster has a 1.3 liter four-cylinder engine that produces 43 hp. This results in a top speed of 145 km/h where you reach 100 km/h in 13.5 seconds. The gearbox of these Speedsters is a manual four-speed gearbox.

There have been several versions of the Speedster over the years. One of the most notable is the 356 A 1500 GS Carrera GT Speedster. This Speedster had a strong 1.5-liter four-cylinder from which it produced 110 hp. This gave it a top speed of 200 km/h, making it the first production model to reach 200 km/h.
