About us

Stefan vd Hoven

My name is Stefan van den Hoven and I am a detailer at E&R Classics. I am busy with cleaning and polishing the newly arrived classic cars and the sold cars. Before the classic cars are photographed or sent to a satisfied customer, I make sure they look great.

I followed the automotive engineering course and worked as a mechanic for various car companies. During my work as a mechanic I found out that I get more satisfaction from detailing (classic) cars and I was able to make that my job at ERclassics.

My very first car was a 2005 Renault Clio. It was a nice starter car that gave me a lot of freedom. Once I got my driver's license, I could go wherever I wanted.

My dream car is a classic Porsche 911
My absolute dream car is a classic Porsche 911 in the colour Miami Blue. I have always had a predilection for classic Porsches and every time I get to detail a Porsche at ERclassics I get extra enthusiastic about it.

What is your best car related memory?
My best car-related memory is that I once won a competition and was allowed to ride in a classic Ferrari. I will never forget the sound of the Ferrari in combination with the speed.

What makes a working day at E&R Classics so much fun for you?
Especially the diversity during my working day makes working at ERclassics so much fun for me. It is always a challenge for me to make a classic car or youngtimer as beautiful as possible. One day I'm working on the engine compartment of a Jaguar E-Type and the next I'm polishing a Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet. Every classic needs a different approach and that makes my work so fun and varied.
