1957 Mercedes Benz 190SL

The 1957 Mercedes Benz 190SL was a 2 door grand touring cabriolet that was produced between 1955 and 1963, also available with a removable hardtop and independent suspension. This suspension made the 190SL very similar to the more expensive 300SL. Both models offered the double wishbone suspension at the front and swing axles at the rear. Approx 25000 of the Mercedes 190SL models were built throughout the production period. The 1957 Mercedes Benz 190SL differentiated itself from the other year models as the bumper over-riders on the American version became standard on all models after July 1957. The Mercedes Benz 190SL was also available as a soft-top Roadster or as a coupe with a removable hardtop.
