We offer for sale this beautiful Volkswagen Split window Beetle from 1950. This Beetle is the oldest Beetle that has been in production and can be recognized by the split rear window with the bar between the windows. The VW Split window Beetle that we offer for sale here was delivered new in Sweden in 1950. A few years ago, this classic was extensively restored and kept as original as possible during the restoration. The Volkswagen has always been well maintained and only used for short pleasure rides. It is powered by a 1100cc 4-cylinder engine from 1950. In the time of the Split window Beetles, the engine number was not registered by Volkswagen, but since this engine comes from 1950, there is a very good chance that it is matching numbers.
VW Beetle from 1950 in very good condition for sale
As you can see in the photos, this Volkswagen Beetle is in very good condition. During the restoration, it was provided with a dark aubergine-coloured paint that completely matches a classic from the 1950s. The chrome on the classic combines very nicely with the dark paint and the white wall tires. The interior has been reupholstered in an original pattern and fitted with beige cloth upholstery. The dashboard is complete and original and all instruments function properly. In short, a beautiful 1950 Volkswagen Beetle that is completely ready for its new owner.
