Extensively restored MG MGB Convertible for sale
When MG introduced the MGB at the London Motor Show in 1962, the Abingdon-based marque set a new standard for the affordable British sports car. The MGB succeeded the MGA and, thanks to its modern monocoque body, was stronger, more spacious and more comfortable than its predecessor, without losing any of its sporting character. The design was developed under the direction of MG chief designer Syd Enever and went on to become one of the best-selling sports cars of all time, remaining in production until 1980. This 1973 example dates from the sought-after period with elegant chrome bumpers. Under the bonnet is the 1800cc four-cylinder engine, fed by twin SU carburettors and coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The overdrive also makes the MGB a relaxed touring car on the motorway. Front disc brakes and a stainless-steel exhaust system complete the technical specification. The car has been extensively restored and is in very good condition.

Dark green MG MGB Convertible for sale
The dark green paintwork is a classic colour for a British roadster and beautifully highlights the long bonnet and clean, low-slung lines of the MGB. The chrome wire wheels with centre-lock hubs, chrome grille with MG badge, round headlights, bumpers with overriders and chrome trim along the flanks give the car a smart and sporty appearance. At the rear, a chrome luggage rack completes the look and is ideal for a weekend getaway, while the black fabric soft top provides protection when the weather changes. The black interior has a sporty and stylish appearance, featuring a black dashboard with round gauges and a wooden sports steering wheel with aluminium spokes and MG horn button. The combination of the deep dark green exterior and black interior exudes understated British class, while the warm wood of the steering wheel provides an attractive finishing touch.
