Le Mans Classic 2023

The Le Mans Classic is a biennial event for classic sports cars held on the grounds of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, created by Peter Auto and Richard Mille and associated with Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). It started in 2002 and will run in July on the entire 13.65km circuit which is also used for the annual modern 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 2002 Le Mans Classic event marked the first time since 1923 that the entire 24-hour circuit was closed specifically for an event other than the annual performance of the 24 heures du Mans.
The event consists of a series of races for cars that have participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans or for comparable cars of the same model. Only pre-1979 cars are allowed, with all cars categorized into six different eras.
It also hosts car shows and auctions. These are located on the grounds of the Bugatti Circuit. Several car clubs also come together here to show their vehicles.
