We purchased our 1967 Mercedes 200 Fintail online without seeing the car in May 2020, and were able to collect her in July. We changed the distributor to an electronic system, fitted automatic seat belts and a passenger door mirror, and have enjoyed about 2,000 kilometres since then. Paul took The Spitfire down to a club run meetup on the weekend and all the members came over and admired the car saying what a beauty she was and immediately she passed their inspection requirements and he was accepted to join The Old Motors Classic Car Club.
