Rare Alfa Romeo Matta for sale
When one hears the name Alfa Romeo, most people think of an Italian sports car, but nothing could be further from the truth. In the 1950s, Alfa Romeo developed a jeep-like vehicle based on the Alfa Romeo 1900. The engine was improved and the chassis was made shorter and narrower. Due to the installation of an extra reduction gearbox, the gears could be used in high and low gearing. The vehicle had four-wheel drive and was nicknamed La Matta, Italian for fool.
Only 2000 copies of the Matta were produced, making this classic very rare and very popular among collectors.
